There is a lot to talk about in October!

Posted October 14th, 2015 by PPA

We want to welcome Dr. Brian Belva and Dr. Alexandria Pruitt to PPA! We are very excited to have them join our group and look forward to all the valuable knowledge they will bring to our team.

Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention Month? If you or someone you know is being bullied do not wait to get the help needed – call us, talk to a school counselor, a pediatrician, or another mental health specialist. October also shares World Mental Health Day, National Depression Screening Day, and ADHD Awareness Month. We may not always realize it, but most of us know someone living with a mental illness – a friend, a partner, a child, a parent or a sibling. Should you have questions about any of these topics please check out our resources online or call our office.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween! PPA

Back to school time is here!

Posted August 25th, 2015 by PPA

We want to wish all of our patients a happy and successful  school year!  Remember it can take several weeks to transition back to school and to adapt to the new routine.  We are here to help in any way possible.  One way to make sure you have a good start is to stay organized by preparing yourself the night before your school day. It’s very important to get a good night’s sleep and eat a well balanced diet. Also remember to take a deep breath and enjoy the new adventure!

Happy 4th!
